Job Description:
Stovl’s primary partner is Cisco Systems. The Cisco Solution Architect position provides a highly motivated individual an opportunity to lead the design technical solutions for Cisco customers using Cisco Data Center and Cloud products. The Cisco Solution Architect will be responsible for developing and deploying solutions using UCS, UCSD, Nexus, CloudCenter (formerly Cliqr)
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's level degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field with 10+ years of overall experience
- Data Center CCIE
- Expertise in UCS, Nexus and UCSD
- Should be comfortable in discussing and designing/implementing the DC architectures using the Cisco Nexus and UCS components
- Experience on Nexus products – Nexus 7K, Nexus 5K, Nexus 3K, FEX, UCS, and MDS Switches
- Experience in the virtualization components – Nexus 1000v, VMware/Hyper-V etc.
- Expertise in Data Center Storage, Virtualization and Networking
- Should know UCS Director Architecture, Setup, Configuration, Discovery and Catalog creation, Self Service Provisioning etc.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure as well as experience designing, deploying and migrating applications to the cloud
- Experience in a consultant role to build relationships with customers and team members
- Excellent written, verbal communication skills, presentation and collaboration skills
- Team leadership skills
- Understanding of private cloud architecture for scale out & integration to public cloud
- Understanding of end to end application and data security
- Understanding of overall cloud management tools, monitoring, alerting, chargeback, capacity and performance management, and service level objective definitions
Good to have Skills:
- Knowledge of automation scripts and tools
- Knowledge of Cisco CloudCenter (former Cliqr) design and deployment
- Knowledge of Cisco ACI

- Analyzing customers’ business and technical requirements, assessing existing environment for Cloud enablement and advising on Cloud models, technologies and risk management strategies.
- Managing POCs and projects - to identify, evaluate and eventually adopt most suitable Cloud model (Public & Private Clouds, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) for customers. Understanding the business requirements and converting them into solution designs. Build out environment, migration and testing with AWS (or other) environments
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's level degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field with 10+ years of overall experience.
- Certifications in AWS and/or Azure
- Expertise in Data Center Storage, Virtualization and Networking
- Expertise on Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, etc)
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure as well as experience designing, deploying and migrating applications to the cloud.
- Experience in a consultant role to build relationships with customers and team members.

- Able to architect application designs using AWS Services or other leading cloud providers

- Knowledge of automation scripts and tools (use of AWS Cloud Formation)
- Knowledge of how to setup and use different database types and best use cases for applications

Job Description:

Required Skills:
- Java - 2-6 years of back-end cloud based development experience
- Experience with web based technologies and protocols (HTTP, REST, TLS)
- Understanding of the networking stack (TLS, TCP)
- Build, deploy, monitor, manage and maintain Cloud applications and the underlying Cloud (e.g. AWS, Docker, etc.) technologies in local and remote data centers
- Strong knowledge of deployment automation, orchestration and configuration management
Good to have Skills:
- Good understanding of networking including TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, HTTPS
- Experience of working in an Agile team within a DevOPs culture
- Ability to build on and use open-source tools/projects
- Scala, Python, Ruby experience would be a plus
- Previous experience with delivering new product, including methodologies, for an enterprise solution
